Scope and content |
This file concerns the affairs and assets of white Canadian nationals during the deportation
of Japanese Canadians and Japanese nationals. It includes some logistical details
concerning Japanese 'repatriates' and their property, but primarily contains correspondence
regarding the affairs of Canadian government liaisons in Japan (i.e. the space for shipment of vehicles for liaisons on repatriation vessels). Also
included is correspondence between Canadian and United States officials regarding this arrangement.
