Scope and content |
This is a white envelope mailed from J. Furukawa (New Westminster, BC) to John Eiji
Tomemura [sic] (Vancouver, BC). The postage stamp indicates that it was mailed December
8, 1955. Enclosed is a Christmas greeting card. The front cover is red, with a brown
hat, yellow and red scarf, leather gloves, and mistletoe on the front. The text says
“Merry Christmas”. On the inside there is an illustration of the same hat and mistletoe.
The text says “Christmas Greetings and a Happy New Year” with the handwritten signature
in blue pen “Jane Furukawa”. The back of the card says “Made in Canada”.
