This item is a letter, sent to A. MacNamara from Jas. H. McVety. The letter concerns the following: Japanese Canadians being discharged from jobs; the apparent lack of employment opportunities for non Japanese Canadians in BC; a recommendation to force interned Japanese Canadians to be farm labourers in the Okanagan and road camp workers on the Hope-Princeton highway, among elsewhere; and the "shipment of Japanese" to Chapleau being set up to avoid photographers and press on arrival.
