Scope and content |
Item is a photocopy of letter (written by the Japanese of Rosebery (presumably Jisaburo
Wakabayashi in his capacity as Spokesman for the Japanese Nationals of Rosebery) to
Ferdinando de Kobbe, Consul for Spain, (Vancouver). The letter welcomes de Kobbe to
his new position as Spanish Consul in Vancouver, and thanks him for visiting them
in camp. The letter impresses the fact that the Japanese Nationals are reliant on
his office’s advocacy and protection during the war. The report gives details on the
concerns of the Rosebery camp. The letter is only one page of possibly many.

is the founder of Pacific Liaicon Ltd., he has helped many major projects such as
the Vancouver Sky Train, the expansion of the Vancouver International Airport and
the Metro Vancouver drinking water treatment program.
