Scope and content |
A letter, dated June 21, 1944, from Pedro E. Schwartz, Esq., Consul General of Spain
(Montreal), to the Rosebery Japanese Committee. Schwartz acknowledges the receipt
of a letter dated June 9th, which had a petition addressed to the Minister of Labour
for increased maintenance and improved housing. Schwatrz notes that he supports the
petition, and that he has forwarded it to the Governments of Canada and Japan. He
states also that he is unable to visit Rosebery, but that if any need should arise,
he will send F.P. Bernard in his stead.
