Scope and content
Two draft copies of a one-page letter, dated June 19th, 1944, from Jisaburo Wakabayashi, Spokesman for Japanese Nationals, Rosebery, to Mr. F.P. Bernard, Honorary Viceconsul for Spain, Vancouver. The letter notes that the Japanese Nationals have already complied with his request for a list of deaths in the community, as they sent information on the death of Utaro Yamamoto at the beginning of May (1944). The letter also states that there have been no deaths since, nor have there been any changes to the Rosebery committee of Japanese Nationals.
Name of creator
Henry Wakabayashi is the founder of Pacific Liaicon Ltd., he has helped many major projects such as the Vancouver Sky Train, the expansion of the Vancouver International Airport and the Metro Vancouver drinking water treatment program.
