Item is a memo, dated October 21,
1943, written by “Representative of Japanese National” (presumably Jisaburo
Wakabayashi in his capacity as Spokesman for the Japanese Nationals of
Rosebery) to Ferdinando de Kobbe, Consul for Spain, (Vancouver). Memo
contains a list of grievances related to dental care, installation of water
pipes, fuel supply, housing conditions, (financial) maintenance of married
men and girls. Also contains questions regarding “repatriation,”
correspondence, and treatment of Japanese Nationals. |
