Scope and content
A letter, dated February 15, 1946 from the Office of the Custodian, Vancouver, to Jisaburo Wakabayashi. The letter acknowledges receipt of Jisaburo’s letter dated January 14, 1946 inquiring after his goods. It notes that some of the goods are being stored at the Hompa Buddhist Temple. It also states that the Custodian is likely in possession of an urn containing Jisaburo’s daughter’s ashes, and it anxious to return it to the family.
Name of creator
Henry Wakabayashi is the founder of Pacific Liaicon Ltd., he has helped many major projects such as the Vancouver Sky Train, the expansion of the Vancouver International Airport and the Metro Vancouver drinking water treatment program.
